Damana Reserva 2018 is born in the ‘Golden Mile’ of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, in Olivares de Duero. On the nose, it reveals an intense combination of fruit aromas (raspberry, plum); fennel, licorice, and vanilla along with toasted notes. On the palate, it is well-balanced with ripe fruit, spiced notes, and mature tannins. Broad and persistent.

All the wines born in the ‘Golden Mile’ of Ribera del Duero are truly unique, such as Damana Reserva 2018. A wine that highlights the value of the tempranillo or tinta fina variety, as this grape is known in Ribera del Duero. It originates from one of the best areas of the D.O., in Olivares de Duero.
Thus, it is made from 100% tempranillo vines aged between 20 and 30 years, cultivated in clay and sandy-loam soil and harvested manually, with yields not exceeding 4,500 Kg/ha. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature for twelve days and malolactic fermentation in tank. Finally, it aged for 12 months in 90% French oak barrels and 10% American oak.
Bodegas y Viñedos Tábula was established in 2002 thanks to the drive of José Luis Muñoz Olmos, supported by a group of Castilian-Leonese entrepreneurs. Two decades of history have been enough for it to gain recognition, not only in our country but also beyond our borders, thanks, among other reasons, to its perfect interpretation of the tempranillo variety. Located in Olivares de Duero (Valladolid), it currently has 70 hectares of its own vineyards, where its Finca La Morejona stands out, with just four hectares, planted between 1959 - the first - and 1999, the remaining three.
