With the red wine Convento San Francisco Selección Especial 2019, the winery Convento San Francisco has aimed to capture the unique landscape of Gumiel de Izán and Quintana del Pidio, where the two small, nearly century-old vineyards that produce it are located, settled at an altitude of 850 meters. This is a single-varietal Tempranillo that is only bottled when the essence of the terroir, the purity and typicity of the variety, and a vintage of great quality converge. The result is an intense and vibrant wine with excellent acidity, good persistence, and a very flavorful and fresh profile.
