Clos de Gallur 2021 is a limited-edition red that reflects the character and excellence of Vicente Gandía, one of the most iconic wineries of the Valencia region. It’s a careful combination of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, in a blend of selected grapes grown on Finca Casa Gallur estate. This estate is located in the Vall dels Alforins, an exceptional inland area of the D.O. Valencia that’s been dubbed the ‘Valencian Tuscany’ due to the beauty of its landscape and the quality of its wines.

General Information
Clos de Gallur 2021 is the result of a harmonious blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were grown on the Casa Gallur estate in Caudete, at 600 metres above sea level in one of the inland areas of what is known as the ‘Valencian Tuscany’. The dry climate and low rainfall of this region are conducive to slower ripening and exceptional concentration of flavours in the grapes, resulting in intense and expressive wines.
Following the selection and blend of the three varieties, Clos de Gallur 2021 was aged for 12 months in fine-grained French oak barrels to lend it aromatic complexity, structure and elegance.
Although Caudete is currently part of the province of Albacete, its history is closely linked to the former Kingdom of Valencia. Owing to its location in the Vall dels Alforins and its unique winegrowing history, the Casa Gallur estate is authorised to produce wines under the D.O.P. Valencia and has established a name for itself.
Founded in Valencia in 1885, Vicente Gandía is one of the largest and most internationally focused wineries in the Valencia region.
