Originally inhabited by a cherry orchard, just over 4 hectares planted with syrah vines in 1998 gave birth to the red Cayuse En Cerise Syrah 2017, a spectacular wine crafted by Cayuse Vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley (Washington, USA). Meaty, full-bodied yet well-balanced, this expressive syrah with youthful tannins boasts a highly gastronomic profile and an excellent aging potential in the bottle.

Intense on the nose, where it reveals aromas of black fruits (blackberries, blueberries, cherries) and flowers such as violet and lavender. Spicy notes (pepper) and smoky hints appear over an earthy and mineral background.
On the palate, it is voluminous and fleshy, with good acidity and youthful tannins that suggest a good aging potential in the bottle. Long and attractive finish that lingers and brings back memories of cherry skin.
