General Information

Campo Burgo Reserva 2018 is based on the region's star grape variety, Tempranillo, enhanced by contributions from other varieties authorised in Rioja. The grapes are sourced from controlled-production vineyards located between 300 and 650 metres above sea level in different areas of the D.O. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and automatic pumping over followed by maceration for at least 15 days with selected yeasts. The wine was aged for 24 months in medium-toast 225-litre French and American oak barrels and for 12 months in the bottle.

Founded in 2002 and based in Alfaro, La Rioja, Bodegas Isidro Milagro is a family group whose history goes back three generations. It produces wines that respect the typical characteristics of the Denominación in which the fruit and the properties of the variety are balanced with the ageing process. The winery is supplied by 15 hectares of vineyards of its own and a further 600 hectares of vineyards under its control, distributed throughout the different subzones of the D.O.Ca. Rioja. It also makes wines in La Mancha.

Campo Burgo Reserva 2018 (D.O.Ca. Rioja) is ideal with game dishes such as venison or rabbit stew.
