General Information

Attis Coribante 2023 showcases the full potential of albariño, godello, and caíño blanco, three of the most esteemed Galician grape varieties. Its harmonious blend inspired the name of this wine, which alludes to the Coribantes of Greek mythology, dancers who performed in perfect synchrony during ceremonies dedicated to the goddess Cybele.

Attis Bodega y Viñedos carefully selected the grapes to craft this fantastic white wine from their vineyards planted on trellises, in granitic and clay soils, in the best area of the Salnés Valley. After the manual harvest of the grapes, the winemaking process included fermentation and subsequent aging in French oak barrels for 12 months, resulting in this Attis Coribante 2023, a fresh and complex wine, with a production of less than 1,000 bottles. Not to be missed.

Tasting notes

Greasy and broad on the palate, Attis Coribante exhibits great structure and good acidity. A friendly, subtle wine with a very broad finish.

The winery

In the heart of the Salnés Valley, specifically in the municipality of Meaño, lies Attis Bodega y Viñedos, a family-owned winery that produces authentic, artisanal, and Atlantic wines.

All the winery's creations are made from native varieties of the D.O. Rías Baixas, crafted with the utmost care and respect for the environment and the vines, from cultivation to vinification, including the harvest. The production is entirely artisanal, resulting in wines with a distinct Atlantic character and high salinity, a hallmark of this subzone of the Salnés Valley.
