From the heart of Ribera del Duero arrives Arzuaga Reserva 2021 (an excellent vintage), a refined red that perfectly reflects the style that has made Arzuaga one of the most admired bodegas in Spain. Its label reproduces the work Circle Segments, by László Moholy-Nagy.
In the legendary “golden mile” of Ribera del Duero, Arzuaga has established itself as one of the major reference points of Spanish wine, admired for its modern style, balanced power and impeccable sense of elegance. Within this exclusive collection stands out with its own light Arzuaga Reserva 2021, a wine created exclusively for Vinoselección as a result of an excellent vintage.
Arzuaga Reserva 2021 arises from privileged estates and embodies the essence of a unique area and the vision of a winery that has elevated the Ribera del Duero character to its maximum expression. Its blend is composed of Tempranillo (91%), complemented by 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Albillo Mayor, and underwent a long ageing of 36 months in French oak barrels.
THE WORK.László Moholy-Nagy. Segments of a Circle, 1921. Influenced by Russian constructivism and the pursuit of a totally pure abstraction, László Moholy-Nagy developed a visual language based on clean geometric shapes and the balance between opposing forces. In this path, the artist explored how the heavy and the light can coexist in perfect harmony, eliminating any personal trace to achieve a nearly mechanical and precise image. That spirit is reflected in Segments of a Circle, where semicircles and flat surfaces create a serene and exact composition.

Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro is one of the quality benchmarks of Ribera del Duero and one of the great wineries of our country. It produces modern wines with a fruit-forward expression, powerful yet elegant and balanced, and with a marked character of what a great Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero has to offer.
The brilliant journey of Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro began in the early nineties thanks to the determination of Florentino Arzuaga, a hospitality entrepreneur who sought to establish a cutting-edge winery project on the banks of the Duero. To achieve this, he chose one of the most privileged areas of this production zone, which was then in full expansion: the municipality of Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid), in the area known as the “golden mile” of Ribera del Duero, where illustrious names such as Vega Sicilia and Finca Villacreces are located.
The winery's first vineyard was planted in the early nineties at Finca La Planta, a 1400-hectare estate located a few kilometers from the facilities, at an altitude of over 900 meters on clay-limestone soil, giving it very particular characteristics. Finca La Planta today hosts 70 hectares of vineyards.
In addition to La Planta, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro owns other estates in the municipalities of Quintanilla de Onésimo and on the plateau of Olivares de Duero, and continues to undertake new plantations, all organically farmed.
Furthermore, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro has become one of the main wine tourism destinations in Ribera del Duero: it features a hotel, spa, and restaurant, as well as offering visits to Finca La Planta, where deer and wild boar can be spotted.
