Arzuaga Pago Florentino Eco Mágnum 2020 is a single-varietal red wine designed by Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro from Cencibel (Tempranillo) grapes. It comes from a magnificent terroir that’s been designated a Pago (a wine estate with unique characteristics). The best grapes from La Solana vineyard (D.O.P. Vino de Pago Florentino) in the municipality of Malagón in La Mancha were selected to make this organic red that’s been aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Arzuaga Pago Florentino Eco is cherry-red with a violet-hued rim, clear and bright. Prominent aromas of ripe red and black fruit together with hints of roasted coffee and dark-roasted and spicy notes. Silky-smooth, pleasant on the attack, with very intense, long-lasting flavours on the palate. The black fruit and dark-roasted notes detected in the nose reappear in the finish.
Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro is one of the quality benchmarks of Ribera del Duero and one of the great wineries of our country. It produces modern wines with a fruit-forward expression, powerful yet elegant and balanced, and with a marked character of what a great Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero has to offer.
The brilliant journey of Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro began in the early nineties thanks to the determination of Florentino Arzuaga, a hospitality entrepreneur who sought to establish a cutting-edge winery project on the banks of the Duero. To achieve this, he chose one of the most privileged areas of this production zone, which was then in full expansion: the municipality of Quintanilla de Onésimo (Valladolid), in the area known as the “golden mile” of Ribera del Duero, where illustrious names such as Vega Sicilia and Finca Villacreces are located.
The winery's first vineyard was planted in the early nineties at Finca La Planta, a 1400-hectare estate located a few kilometers from the facilities, at an altitude of over 900 meters on clay-limestone soil, giving it very particular characteristics. Finca La Planta today hosts 70 hectares of vineyards.
In addition to La Planta, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro owns other estates in the municipalities of Quintanilla de Onésimo and on the plateau of Olivares de Duero, and continues to undertake new plantations, all organically farmed.
Furthermore, Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro has become one of the main wine tourism destinations in Ribera del Duero: it features a hotel, spa, and restaurant, as well as offering visits to Finca La Planta, where deer and wild boar can be spotted.
