Fantastic red Crianzas from the D.O. Ribera del Duero
Three of the most ambitious Ribera del Duero wineries produced these reds specially for the Club. They’re made from the star variety in the D.O., Tempranillo, and have all been aged in oak. Bela, CVNE's winery in Castile, presents Vallejo 2021, from an Excellent vintage. Portia belongs to another of the most important groups in the country, Familia Martínez Zabala (formerly Grupo Faustino), and produces Portia Selección de Familia 2023. And lastly, Dominio de la Abadesa Crianza 2021 (Excellent vintage) comes from the Pérez Cuevas family, owners of Ontañón. Three Riberas del Duero in an exclusive version that we’re very proud of – it’s only possible at Vinoselección!

At Vinoselección we’ve already presented several vintages of Vallejo and its popularity with members hasn’t ceased to grow. Therefore, we decided to do what we like the most: to offer you an exclusive version, with the collaboration of Bodega Bela's winemakers and with the freedom to choose from some of their best vintages. And this is the result: Vallejo 2021. A unique Ribera del Duero that’s an exclusive version of one of Bodega Bela's best wines.
Portia Selección de Familia 2023 is produced by one of the most spectacular wineries in Ribera del Duero: Portia, designed by Norman Foster. This winery is part of the Familia Martínez Zabala group, one of the major Spanish winemaking families. Their Selección de Familia is a red wine made exclusively for Vinoselección since the 2012 vintage. A real privilege. Now comes the new vintage of this Club classic, a vibrant Tempranillo aged for 3 months in barrels, with fruity flavours, delicate floral notes and subtle hints of toasted oak.
The Pérez Cuevas family, creators of the historic Ontañón winery in Rioja, own the Rippa Dorii winery in Ribera del Duero. This winery is located in Fuentecén (Burgos) and produced Dominio de la Abadesa Crianza 2021, a red wine from an Excellent vintage that we love for its perfect balance between fruit and oak. An intense Tempranillo with a very complex nose, round on the attack, generous mid-palate and a potent, long finish.
