Red

Red wines are made from the juice of red grapes, which undergo a process whereby the extract in the skins lends colour to the juice. Reds are chiefly produced by means of two different processes, the traditional method and carbonic maceration. The colour of the wine depends on factors such as the grape varieties used, how the wine is made, and its age. The shade of a red wine can range from light red to black.
