General information
Beronia Crianza 2019 is a complex, elegant and intense red in which the flavours from ageing are perfectly integrated. Created by Bodegas Beronia from the typical Rioja grape varieties: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano grown on vines more than 30 years old.
González Byass originates from the Tío Pepe winery founded in Jerez in 1835 by Manuel María González with the intention of doing business from the growing demand for Sherry from English customers. González Byass began to take shape in the twentieth century when the third generation of the González family decided to expand beyond Jerez. Today, besides the original Jerez wineries, it consists of Bodegas Beronia in the D.O.Ca. Rioja; Viñas del Vero in the D.O. Somontano; Vilarnau in Catalonia; Finca Constancia in Toledo, Finca Moncloa in Cádiz, Pazos de Lusco in the D.O. Rías Baixas; and Veramonte in Chile.
CATA's notes
Cherry red with maroon in the rim.
Fine, aromatic nose with prominent notes of ripe red fruit (cranberries), sweet spices, herbs, and resiny and woodland aromas.
Balanced and tasty with an acidic bite that makes it fresh, moreish and aromatic on mid palate. Long finish with hints of patisserie and spices.
