Pazo das Bruxas Albariño 2023
The essence of Rías Baixas
Pazo das Bruxas Albariño 2023 is a white wine that embodies all the qualities that have made the queen grape of Rías Baixas one of the most appreciated varieties both in Spain and abroad. A fragrant example of intensity and freshness.
General information
Bodegas Torres, a Catalan winery with a presence in Penedés, Priorat, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Rueda, produces under the designation of the main Galician denomination of origin Pazo das Bruxas Albariño 2023, a fresh, elegant, balanced white wine with a long and concentrated finish, perfectly capturing the idiosyncrasy of these northwestern Spanish lands.
The grapes used to produce Pazo das Bruxas Albariño 2023 come from O Rosal and Val do Salnés, two of the best subzones of Rías Baixas, characterized by a climate with marked Atlantic influence and sandy soils with granite stones. After selecting the best bunches, the winery's production process included fermenting the must under temperature control in stainless steel tanks for 16 days. The result is a fragrant and lively albariño, which you can enjoy as an aperitif and as a companion to boiled and grilled seafood, mild white fish, and young goat cheeses.
CATA's notes
Pazo das Bruxas Albariño presents a bright golden color.
On the nose, it is fragrant, with dominant fine floral notes (acacia) and fruity notes (lemon jam), on a vegetal background (fennel).
Intense and fresh on the palate. Delicate fruity acidity.
