Adega Condes de Albarei
Description
Adega Condes de Albarei is one of the largest wineries and with more vineyards owned by the D.O. Rías Baixas. Founded in 1988 in Cambados, capital of the Saln & eacute; s Valley, it is the result of the union of a group of winegrowers from this region, considered the cradle of the D.O. Rías Baixas and its native and predominant variety, the albari & ntilde; o.
The gold medal obtained by Condes de Albarei in 1991 at the Challenge International du Vin de Bordeaux (the first obtained for a Spanish white wine) meant its international take-off for the winery, arriving with its albari & ntilde; to different countries, such as Germany, England, the United States or Japan.
Currently, Condes de Albarei produces high quality albari & ntildeos from its 300 hectares of vineyards, and has modern facilities equipped with the most modern technology. The Pazo Bai & oacute; n winery belongs to the same group, also in the D.O. Rías Baixas.
