Roger Goulart Brut Millésimé 2022 and Baron de Marck Brut

Sparkling wines are synonymous with joy and celebrations, but above all they’re wines that offer a wonderful sensory experience with their bubbly sensations, delicacy and freshness. The first is a Cava from Roger Goulart, a winery based in the Penedés region that combines traditional winemaking practices with careful grape growing to produce Cavas that are leading names on the Spanish scene.. Roger Goulart Brut Millésimé 2022 is an organic Cava made from the classic blend used for these sparkling wines – Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo – and  has been aged for a long period in the bottle in the firm’s underground cellars. It’s notable for its fine bubbles, creaminess and length, with very fruity and slightly toasty notes in the finish. 

We now move on to Champagne, undoubtedly the most famous sparkling wine in the world. We’ve picked Baron de Marck Brut, made with the traditional blend used in these sparkling wines – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay – and aged for a minimum of two years. This champagne has a fine, elegant nose with aromas of stone and dried fruit, smoky, toasty and nutty notes and hints of pain grillé. Savoury, balanced and full-bodied on the attack and mouth-coating and fresh on mid-palate.
