Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses 2023 is a magnificent single-varietal Tempranillo made from vines between 8 and 20 years old, perfected with 9 months of aging in French oak. It is produced by Carmelo Rodero, who, in 1990, after many years of selling his grapes to prestigious wineries such as Vega Sicilia, built his first winery and began one of the most brilliant trajectories remembered in the entire history of the D.O. Ribera del Duero.
Located in Pedrosa del Duero (Burgos), Bodegas Rodero has positioned itself as one of the leading wineries of Ribera del Duero thanks, in large part, to the exceptional quality of its vineyards. The exquisite care the brand gives to the grape is its priority. Each of its creations comes from a specific plot and is made considering the age of the plants, the type of soil, its orientation, and exposure. To the eye, the violet hues characteristic of the youth of Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses envelop the cherry red tones. On the nose, the intensity and expressiveness of the primary aromas of tempranillo prevail. On the palate, it is a structured, balanced, and pleasant wine, inviting a second sip.

After many years of selling their grapes to prestigious wineries such as Vega Sicilia, Carmelo Rodero, the fourth generation of winegrowers from Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos), decided in 1990 to produce his own wines, founding Bodegas Rodero.
