Tasting Notes

Profile sheet Monte Real 2012

This iconic Reserva was revamped at the end of the twentieth century and its new character appeals to both critics and consumers. It was created from selected Tempranillo grapes from a single municipality, Cenicero – specifically El Monte, where vines aged between 30 and 40 years old grow at an altitude of more than 400 m using sustainable practices with minimal intervention. A red with a fine, velvety palate, full of lingering fruity flavours. Thirty-six months in American oak ensure it a long life.
