General information

An exceptional Reserva for an unbeatable price

With more than a century of history under its belt – it was founded in 1882 – the winery that makes this wine, Rioja Vega, is one of the few that can boast of keeping the word “Rioja” in their name and has a string of rave reviews from leading publications and successes at international competitions. A good example is the 90 Parker points awarded to its Reserva 2010, the previous vintage of the wine we are offering you.

Rioja Vega’s wines are a faithful reflection of this area’s winemaking tradition and its prestige has been growing since it became part of the powerful Príncipe de Viana group.

This exceptional red comes from the Excellent-rated 2011 vintage, one of the best in the past decades in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. It is a typical local blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, each variety being vinified separately. It then spent a long 24 months in American and French oak and a further two years in the bottle. The result is this superb, complex, intense and full-bodied Reserva. In short: a pleasure for the senses.

Take the opportunity to enjoy this Rioja from a century-old winery, one of the most promising and successful firms on the international wine scene.
