The D.O. Ribera del Duero is constantly coming up with pleasant surprises for wine lovers. One of the latest wineries to have emerged in this part of the Castile-León region has created the wine we are offering you: Bodegas Monteabellón, a winery founded by the García family and whose recent success is based on in-depth knowledge of the terroir and vines.

In 2000, the García family – the fourth generation of famed grape growers of Ribera del Duero – decided to start making wine from grapes grown on the vineyard they owned and started up the Bodegas Monteabellón project in Nava de Roa (Burgos). Their extensive knowledge of the region’s grape growing heritage, the huge limitations on the yields of the vines they cultivate and a combination of state-of-the-art oenology and ultramodern winemaking technology make Monteabellón one of the most promising names to emerge in the D.O. Ribera del Duero in recent years.
