Buy wine from Viña Herminia

Description

Bodegas Viña Herminia

In 1927 the heir and founder of Bodegas Lagunilla, Joaquín Lagunilla Artacho, took over the family winery. His modern outlook spurred him to create different brands, among them Vallezarza and Valderrín. Viña Herminia is the label he devised in 1949 in honour of his wife and is the most highly acclaimed of all of them six decades on. The salient characteristic of this accomplished winery is its ability to adapt to new times. Indeed, its modern history began in 1997, when company shares were purchased by the Grupo Caballero, which invested a large sum of money to build its stunning new facilities equipped with a cellar where wines are aged in 8,000 barrels made by coopers from different places. Located in the municipal district of Aldeanueva de Ebro in La Rioja, they are built in the shape of an H – the initial letter of the wine we are offering you.
