Buy wine from Artadi

Artadi originally began a small co-operative in the 1980's. Bodega has been built by Winemaker Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle, who has built the Artadi by growing and elaborating the traditional Spanish grape varietal, Tempranillo, in high-altitude, chalky soils within Rioja.

Artadi wines are known for their simple, elegant structure. Made from the traditional Rioja varietals, Tempranillo and Viura. The wines are also elaborated and aged in small French oak barrels. 100% new oak is reserved for the top cuvees. A small percentage of the white varietals, Viura and Macabeo, are typically fermented alongside the red varieties.
