(price per bottle £15.00)

General information

One of the great Ribera del Duero reds for a unique price, with a 20% saving with respect to its peers.

Vinoselección proposes you enjoy a sublime red, one of the great Ribera del Duero wines made exclusively for the Club by one of the firms responsible for the establishment and rise of the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

Brothers Benjamín, Manuel and Adolfo Pérez Pascuas were pioneers in 1980 with their commitment to the Ribera del Duero region and its magnificent potential for producing quality wines. After inheriting vineyards from the family, they started up their winery – commonly known as Viña Pedrosa – and spearheaded the creation of the new D.O., helping establish the regulatory body in 1982.

Ever loyal to their policy of limited production and giving priority to quality over quantity, in 2013 Bodegas Hermanos Pérez Pascuas was named as one of the world’s 100 best wineries by the influential US magazine Wine&Spirits. Oenological guidance is provided by Benjamín’s son José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, one of the most prestigious oenologists in Spain.

For the first time in the firm’s history, Hermanos Pérez Pascuas has worked side-by-side with Vinoselección’s oenologists to design Viña Pedrosa Singular 2016, a single-variety wine made from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes that has the fragrance, intensity and balance of the great Ribera del Duero wines. Eight months in American and French oak make it a perfect choice for pairing with red meat dishes like char-grilled T-bone steak or beef fillet steak with a mustard and red wine sauce.

Don’t miss the chance to enjoy an excellent collector’s wine for a price you’ll never find in shops. The best of Ribera del Duero, for our members only.
