General information

An unusual proposal from the prestigious Matarromera winery

Melior 3 2016 is an unusual proposal from the prestigious Matarromera winery. It is made with grapes from three different areas: Ribera del Duero, Cigales and Toro. Each single variety (two Tempranillo and one Tinta de Toro) was produced separately and aged for 12 months in barrels, also separately, before the final coupage.

Matarromera does not need any introduction. Founded in 1988 in the Ribera del Duero DO, it was an instant success and today is an icon of quality and one of the leading bodegas (Bodegas Familiares Matarromera) on the Spanish scene, with wineries in Ribera del Duero, Toro, Cigales, Rueda and Rioja.
