Tasting Notes

Profile sheet Borsao Berola 2013

Attractive shade of ripe cherry-red with a slightly violet-tinged garnet edge, very good depth of colour.

Intense, interesting nose combining balsamic aromas (liquorice and eucalyptus) with notes of ripe black fruit (blackberry), followed by delicate floral hints (violet) and ending with bergamot background notes.

Pleasantly fresh and fruity palate, with subtle hints of toast and vanilla from ageing in French oak barrels. Lingering finish with enticing touches of spice.
