General information

Rioja's living history

The origin of González Byass is the Tío Pepe winery, founded in Jerez by Manuel María González in 1835 with the intention of doing business with the growing demand for Jerez wine from the UK. The González Byass group began to take shape in the twentieth century, when the third generation of the Gonzalez family decided to expand its range beyond Jerez. Currently, in addition to the original wineries in Jerez, it is made up of Bodegas Beronia in the DOCa Rioja; Viñas del Vero in the DO Somontano; Vilarnau in Catalonia; Finca Constancia in Toledo; Finca Moncloa in Cádiz; Pazos de Lusco in DO Rías Baixas; Bodegas O. Fournier in Ribera del Duero and the Veramonte winery in Chile.

Beronia Crianza 2016 is an essential red wine that stands out for its depth and elegance. It has been made from the typical varieties in Rioja: tempranillo, garnacha and graciano, from vineyards over 30 years old. It is a complex, elegant and intense wine, perfectly combined with the wood.
You will love September because now for only £ 46 you can taste this Crianza that embodies the entire history of Rioja.
